Goals
- Provide academic scholarships to students interested in pursuing a career in corrosion science and engineering.
- Implement corporate advertising and public relations campaign which will inform the target audience of the Foundation's programs and initiatives.
- Create partnerships with industry and educational organizations which will encourage the advancement of global corrosion awareness.
- To design and implement exemplary programs that encourage involvement in corrosion science and engineering:
- Assist K-12 grade educators in bringing corrosion technology into the classroom.
- Distribute "Inspector Protector" Story Book to children, ages 9-15.
- Create challenging corrosion-related curriculum for high school students.
- Actively participate in strategic partnerships which will allow the distribution and implementation of this curriculum in the classrooms.
- Enhance university level awareness of corrosion technology and careers.
- Encourage and participate in the development of university level corrosion curriculum.
- Promote the development of student chapters.
- Establish an internship program which will encourage
students to advance their career in the corrosion industry.
- To be abundantly supported both financially and through personal involvement.
- Maintain 100% financial support of Foundation Board Members.
- Implement business development program which will encourage private industry to support the Foundation's exemplary programs.
- Establish business partnerships which will lead to long-term financial and operational support of the Foundation's programs.
- Encourage active participation through the development of a volunteer program.
