Over the last few years, there has been a notable trend in the decline of students entering into the corrosion workforce. This trend has raised a certain degree of concern throughout the global corrosion community. The mission of the NACE Foundation is to "inspire students and educators to engage in the field of corrosion science and engineering." In the pursuit of this mission, the Foundation is committed to the concept of encouraging students to pursue a career in corrosion. As a result, the Foundation has placed special emphasis on recruitment, education and career selection of students regarding the corrosion industry. To become a Student Member, the applicant must be enrolled, full-time, in an accredited educational institution and be interested in corrosion engineering as a profession. Student Members Receive:
