Introduction to Scholarship Programs |

|
Over the last few years, there has been a notable trend in the decline of students entering into the fields of science and engineering. Consequently, there are fewer students entering into the corrosion workforce. This trend has raised concern throughout the global corrosion community. In response, the NACE Foundation has placed special emphasis on recruitment, education and career selection of students, through our scholarship and internship programs. In an effort to reach a vast audience of students, geographic locations and academic interests, we offer several types of scholarships, internships and travel assistance. Each program has its own set of requirements, but they all have one thing in common . . . they are targeted at reaching the best and brightest students interested in pursuing a career in the corrosion industry. Below is a link to the various scholarships available through the NACE Foundation for 2008: Academic scholarship applications for 2008 must be received at NACE Headquarters no later than December 1, 2007.
