Introduction to Scholarship Programs |

Over the last few years, there has been a notable trend in the decline of students pursuing the fields of science and engineering. Consequently, there are fewer students entering the corrosion workforce. This trend has raised concern throughout the global corrosion community. The NACE Foundation has placed a special emphasis on recruitment, education, and career selection to inspire students. Specifically, we offer scholarships to students with varying backgrounds and academic interests, giving them a chance to pursue their corrosion education. Each scholarship has its own set of requirements, but they all have one thing in common - they’re designed to attract quality students and engineers to the corrosion profession. Available scholarships for 2010 will be posted by September 1, 2009. THE DEADLINE FOR 2010 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS IS JANUARY 1.
