Foundation President, Terry May announced the addition of the Hans Schmoldt Scholarship in Cathodic Protection at the NACE annual banquet in Houston. This scholarship has been created by the Schmoldt Education Foundation in an effort to generate interest in the field of cathodic protection.

The Schmoldt Education Foundation created a $5,000 annual scholarship (in perpetuity) through the NACE Foundation. This scholarship is valued at $100,000.
