2012 Founders Award Recipient
Richard M. Wilson, Carboline Company
Mr. Wilson served on the Board of Directors for the NACE Foundation from 2008 to 2011. During his tenure, he chaired the Development Committee and was active in the fundraising efforts.
Through Carboline, Mr. Wilson continues to support the Foundation in its mission to engage students and educators in the field of corrosion science and engineering. His contributions have given great impetus to the success of the various programs offered by the Foundation, such as the cKit for Teachers’ Training Camps, Workforce Development, and Scholarships. During the Foundation’s fundraising events, we could always count on Carboline’s award-winning cooking team being there to feed every hungry soul. Above all else, Mr. Wilson personally solicited support from his colleagues.
Mr. Wilson’s altruistic nature has shaped lives. Thanks to his dedication, there are many more following the same path in contributing to the Foundation, and ultimately the corrosion industry. With great pleasure, and on behalf of the Board of Directors of the NACE International Foundation, we honor Mr. Wilson as our 2012 award recipient.
Mr. Dick Wilson is the President of Carboline Company, St. Louis, Missouri.

The Founders Award was created in 2005 to recognize exceptional contributions and meritorious work by an individual on behalf of the NACE Foundation.
