Charitable Contributions
|
|
The NACE Foundation is supported through generous contributions from individuals, companies and NACE Sections and Areas who all share in our mission to inspire students and educators to engage in the field of corrosion science and engineering.
By contributing to the NACE Foundation, you’re making an investment in the future of corrosion prevention and control; the education and advancement of our youth; and the preservation of our infrastructure.
There are several ways to make a charitable contribution to the NACE Foundation:
- Monetary Contributions
A cash gift is the simplest method of giving and you can deduct the gift amount on your federal income tax return.
- Transferrable Stock Options
The Internal Revenue Service allows you to take a tax deduction on the full fair-market value of a gift of stock.
- Planned Giving
Will bequests are an easy way to make a contribution, particularly for those who are unable to make an outright contribution at the present time. Tax laws encourage bequests and this is an excellent way to ensure the future of the Foundation.
- Gifts In-Kind
A gift in-kind is a kind of charitable giving in which, instead of giving money to buy needed goods and services, the goods and services themselves are donated.
In order to continue on our path forward, we need your support. Donations are tax deductible in both the U.S and in Canada as we are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization.
If you have any questions, please contact the NACE Foundation.
