The NACE Foundation provides Book Awards to assist graduate students in the development of their corrosion libraries. This award is given in the form of a credit to be used on-line in the NACE Bookstore.

This year, the NACE Foundation will award the following:

  • Up to two (2) Book Awards in the amount
    of $1,000 each (graduate)

1. Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must be enrolled full time in a graduate program engaged in science and/or engineering related to the study of corrosion or corrosion control at an accredited college or university.
  • Both North American (Northern, Eastern, Central, and Western Areas designated by NACE) and International (Europe, West Asia/Africa, East Asia/Pacific Rim, Latin America) students are eligible to apply.
  • Post-doctorate students are not eligible.

2. Candidate Evaluation
The following information should be included for review by the
Selection Committee:

  • One copy of completed application
  • Academic transcript, including description of grading system for student performance
  • Two recommendations from educators or employers familiar with applicants background
  • Individual profile statement of 500 words or less, describing career plans, leadership roles, professional activities, reports on special projects, work experience and community involvement
