The NACE Foundation is committed to preparing the new generation of corrosion professionals.
Why is this important? The world’s infrastructure is aging all around us and, with a declining workforce in the corrosion field, our ability to keep up with these demands could greatly diminish.
The NACE Foundation is tackling this epidemic in a variety of ways. We provide academic scholarships, create partnerships with industry and educational organizations, develop programs that engage students in the sciences, and encourage and participate in the development of corrosion curriculums for students from elementary through graduate school. The NACE Foundation is also working on a program which the military designed to help soldiers transition into civilian jobs in the corrosion science and engineering fields.
All these efforts are made possible by the NACE Foundation Board, NACE members and through generous contributions from companies and individuals that share in our mission to inspire student and educators to engage in the field of corrosion science and engineering.
