Michael joined Elcometer in 1996 and has over 14 years experience in the coatings &
concrete testing market.

Following a year at Elcometer USA, in a business development role, Michael returned to the UK firstly as Sales Manager then as a Director, taking a key role in the acquisitions and product integration of Braive Instruments SA, Belgium and Protovale Limited, UK.

In April 2008 Michael took over the role of Managing Director of Elcometer Limited at the Company’s group headquarters in Manchester, UK - becoming the 7th generation to be the Principle of this family business.

He has been strongly involved in the introduction of Paperless QA in the Coatings Industry via the introduction of new products with wireless Bluetooth data transfer and has been working closely with Shipyards, Marine Consultants and Classification Societies to develop the ElcoShip® Program – designed to minimise the impact of the recent IMO PSPC Regulations.
